Before After

Our products helped this 20-year-old beauty blogger, whose stretch marks had caused her to lose her body confidence.

When I was contacted by Science of Skin I was excited, but curious. I was also terrified of posting these photos online for everyone and anyone to see. A scar is a scar, like the one I got from my bunny when I was little, I just got used to it. But stretch marks have knocked my confidence big time.

“Solution for Scars” claims to reduce redness as well as helping to soothe and calm the skin. Do I agree? 100%. The product contains green tea extract which is scientifically proven to help reduce the appearance of scars. The product retails at £18.99 and I honestly have seen results. My biggest result is that my scar feels less irritated and that the redness has reduced. As you can see in the first photo, my scars are bumpy and raised, and in the second photo they appear more flat and faded. I have not edited the photos at all.

To almost ever product there is a downside, you are supposed to apply the product to the affected area three times a day for at least 13 weeks I believe. This is slightly inconvenient as its difficult to find the time in a working day to apply the cream three times. The directions tell you to take a generous amount and to massage it into the skin until it is all soaked up, fortunately, the formula means that this takes seconds!

Honestly, I have not applied it three times a day with my personal lifestyle. However, I tried my best to apply it morning and evening and I have still seen results. I have been using this product for roughly 6 weeks, and i’m human, so of course I have forgotten sometimes! I’m under no illusion, I know that I can’t un stretch my skin, but if I can improve the way my scars look and the way I feel, then thats certainly a start! I definitely think this product is worth a try!
